So much to blog about

Not spending every day with Bodie makes it seem that he is developing in leaps and bounds instead of incrementally.  Of course the other explanation is that he is developing in leaps and bounds.
He is a great fan of his water.

His fine motor skills are getting better every day.  He can pinch quite accurately whether it is a small item on the floor or my arm.  He likes trying to see what his fingers fit into, holes in books, rivets, nostrils (his and others).  He enjoys handing objects to us and then taking them back when we offer them to him.

His eating accuracy still needs work.
He isn't saying any words we recognize yet but he definitely recognizes what we are saying.  If we ask him for things he will hand them to us.  If we ask him to shake a rattle he will shake it.  If we ask him to jump in his command centre he jumps and if we ask him to dance he "dances".  We have started to be much more specific in our language when we play with him, "where is the car", "that is a sock", "hug monkey".

Bodie heading out with Dad to Richmond Center

We have started playing hide and seek.  We go around the corner so Bodie can't see us and say "Where's Bodie" and call his name and he crawls at full speed over to where we are hiding.  Its great fun.

Perfectly content to hang with Dad.

Bodie is also proving that boxes are great toys.

Bodie's sleep is still a little disrupted.  He keeps waking up at night just once, and prefers us to wait in his room until he falls back asleep.  He is also waking up at 5 am which is painfully early but not sure what we can do to change it.

This is how he signals he is done eating.
