This is us at the airport.
We made it to Edmonton with no trouble. It was actually easier than we expected. All the staff we interacted with bent over backwards to help us. Air Canada let us tack the car seat and stroller right to the plane. The security people patted him down in his car seat so that he didn't have to wake him up.
Security was a bit strange. The agent saw he was asleep and yell across to another agent "baby boy pat down needed. He is asleep". Then she made a snoring noise.
I don't know if the agent who came over had special training but he did have rubber gloves on.
The flight was uneventful. At first he was fussing a bit as we were trying to hold off feeding him until takeoff. He fed on the way up then fell asleep and woke up when we landed.
We went for a lovely walk through the ravine. The weather was warm and sunny.
Last night he was totally out of sorts. We tried all the tricks singing, changing, feeding bouncing. We thought he had settled down by 10 only to have him wake up 30 minutes later screaming. One final feed did it though. He fed at 3 and slept until 7. So hopefully we are back on track.
