Bodie seems to be enjoying his command station as we call it. It gives him the chance to stand up and he is slowly realising that he can bounce in it. As you can see in the video his focus is trying to taste everything. The sun is his current nemesis and as you can see sometimes it gives as good as it gets.
Every day he seems to do new things. He is getting much more comfortable on his belly, his raspberry blowing is great, and he can accurately put most things he can reach in his mouth. He is slowly working on moving. He can now stick his butt up in the air when he is on his stomach.
We went for Bodie's first swimming lesson which went well. He seems to like the water. He kicked and splashed around. We are working on "sleep training" him for day time naps. At night he is a superstar and is willing to go to bed awake and fall asleep. Naps are a different story. Apparently going to sleep willingly is a learned skill which is why babies fight so hard against sleep at first. We are simply trying about 2 hours after he wakes up in the morning to get him to nap. Some mornings it is 15 minutes of rocking, singing etc. This morning was 30 minutes of trying, giving up, going for a walk, almost giving up and having him finally fall asleep an hour after we began trying. But naps in the day lead to better sleeps at night.
The other big news is that Bodie seems to have his first tooth coming in on the bottom. There is definitely something sharp that wasn't there before.
LOVE the video...grant and I had a good laugh!
