HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?
March 3 would make Bodie 7 months old. He is 30 inches long. As for his weight all I can tell you is that with all his clothes on he is too heavy to be weighed on the community health nurse's scale. It tops out at 24 pounds.
He is learning new things and developing in leaps and bounds. Today he gave me a raspberry on my belly and rolled off our bed. To prove just how smart he is (or how lucky I am) he landed on a pillow that was on the floor.
Some of you may remember that when Bodie makes noises we can put our finger up to his mouth and by tapping his lips he goes "wah-wah-wah-wah" (this is the best explanation I can give). Anyway, yesterday he started doing it himself. He makes a sound then taps his fist to his lips.
He enjoys holding on to things and bashing them against the floor: rattles, spoons, bear bells (very loud). He is scooting backwards, but is still using rolling for forward motion. He rarely sits still, making diaper changes an adventure.
He is becoming very strong and given his size manhandling him is going to become increasingly challenging. Here's hoping that his pleasant disposition, and his willingness to be easily distracted lasts for a long time.
Bodie's ability to roll has meant that we can no longer go to our exercise class. A few of the pictures below were taken by mum at the last class. Thankfully she was there to hold Bodie or no exercising would have been done. We have started to go to an open gym so Bodie and his friends can roll around. I think it will work out well.
Other than that he has eaten and not reacted to egg yolk which is reassuring. Next we will try wheat and if that goes okay then I will be much more relaxed about introducing different foods to Bodie.

| This is Bodie's first trip to Stanley Park on February 19th. We went to the Planetarium as well as walking some of the sea wall. It was an incredibly beautiful day. The type that reminds me of why I live in Vancouver. |

Woah! That January to February shot involves quite the growth spurt. Great idea to include Hobbes in these shots. Hopefully, you can get a similar shot on his 19th birthday! :)
